Just as the New Year’s resolutions start to wane and the chocolate box is looking very appealing
here’s a fun challenge that will help you keep fit and raise much needed funds for the children
and young adults with disabilities who attend conductive education at the Mawdesley based
The third Rainbow House Workout-athon will take place on 26th February 2017 from 10am to 1pm
at the Park Hall Plaza, Charnock Richard, nr Chorley.
Three hours of fun filled and energetic workouts including Zumba Fitness, Insanity & PiYo and Les Mills
Body Combat and Body Attack Everyone is welcome and can do as much or as little as they wish.
Entry is £10 in advance or £12 on the day and entry forms are available online HERE or
by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or ringing 01704 823276.
Sponsorship is not compulsory but is encouraged as participants can raise even more funds for
Rainbow House by getting family and friends to support them and make every move count.
All participants will also be entered into a draw to win a Fitbit.
The event is supported by Ben Rose Estate Agents and the room has been donated by Park Hall.
The classes are all taken by qualified fitness instructors who have given up their time to do this event
free, as has Top to Toe who are organising the music and first aid and Booths will be donating bananas and
water for the participants to keep up their strength.
The instructors are Zumba Fitness with Mata Stratakou, Emma Waddington, Steph
Devane and Lauryn Hodgeon; Insanity & PiYo with Penny Seddon; Les Mills Body Combat & Body Attack with
Gill Swift & Rachel Holland.
Carole Cochrane, Chief Executive, Rainbow House, said “the event has been a great success for the past two
years and we expect an even bigger turn out in February. We are extremely grateful to everyone who is giving

raise much needed funds but also raise awareness of the services we provide.”
Participants at the event will also be able to sign up at a special price of £10 per person for the 8th Rainbow House
Ramble and starting training for the 5, 11 or 18 mile walk which will be taking place on 6th May 2017.
