Our short breaks and fun clubs provide a high quality fun filled service to disabled children and their families. Here at Rainbow House we have a friendly and dedicated team of experienced staff and volunteers who work hard to ensure they meet the needs of the children but also give them a fun time, offering a range of activities to suit all abilities and ages from 5 to 17 years who have been assessed as reaching the eligibility criteria as defined by the Local Authority.

We endeavour to provide experiences and opportunities to explore new activities, socialize, make friends and build up confidence and self esteem to enable them to become as independent as possible during fun clubs and short breaks.

At Rainbow House we have a vast experience of all disabilities and ages. We ensure the team are prepared and trained to help support the child or young person before they enter our care which gives parents and families reassurance whilst they have a much needed break.

In the past, funding has been granted through Lancashire County Council Short Break Services, however at this current time we do not have any funding to offer this service but are working hard to secure funding for the future.
