More than 120 ladies and gents including teams from Gymetc, Leyland Leisure Centre, Nuffield Health Gym and
Taylor Patterson took part in the third Rainbow House Workout-athon on 26th February 2017 at the Park Hall Plaza,
Charnock Richard, nr Chorley raising over £3,000 for the Mawdesley based charity with further sponsorship money
still to come.
Participants enjoyed three hours of fun filled and energetic workouts including Zumba Fitness,
Insanity & PiYo and Les Mills Body Combat and Body Attack all provided by qualified fitness instructors
who gave up their time to do this event free. Everyone was out to have fun whilst
exercising and there were some colourful outfits including a Rainbow Unicorn!
The instructors were Zumba Fitness with Mata Stratakou, Emma Waddington, Steph Devane and Lauryn Hodgeon;
Insanity & PiYo with Penny Seddon; Les Mills Body Combat & Body Attack with Gill Swift & Rachel Holland.
The event was supported by Ben Rose Estate Agents and the room was donated by Park Hall Hotel.
Participants were also able to sign up at a special price of £10 per person for the 8th Rainbow House Ramble
and starting training for the 5, 11 or 18 mile walk which will be taking place on 6th May 2017.
