News : New Charity Appointments
The Legacy Rainbow House has appointed two staff members to strengthen its management team.
The charity has grown rapidly since its inception in 2001, starting with just a handful of children, and now through word of mouth and a growing reputation, over 180 children attend the centres. Joe is now Chief Executive Officer at the charity.
The appointments are:
Louise Sumner is the charity’s new Director of Services. Louise will be responsible for the running of the charity’s centres, human resource management, training, service delivery and quality.
Louise has a strong background in management, she previously worked as a mortgage adviser and then became a manager for a leading high street building society for seven years.
Louise has a daughter aged 7 who attends The Legacy centre and she was previously a Trustee for the charity.
Hayley Scholes is the charity’s Development Manager. Hayley’s role is to create and develop new services to meet the needs of current and potential users, build partnerships with the community and other service providers, and develop a holistic approach to the range of services offered by The Legacy Rainbow House.
Hayley has over 12 years experience in the day care and education sectors. She joined The Legacy Rainbow House in 2004 as a nursery and conductive assistant and worked her way up through the organisation to become Development Manager.
Commenting on the new appointments, Joe Mawdsley, Chief Executive of the charity says,
“We are delighted with both the appointments. Louise and Hayley will strengthen our management team and support the charity’s growth plans in the coming years. Both staff members are highly experienced and will offer considerable expertise in their fields.”
