News : Glamour & Glitter Event Raises £2000
A fabulous Ladies Evening of Glamour and Glitter was attended by over 200 ladies at The Pines Hotel in Clayton le Woods near Chorley on 24th June. The evening raised £2,000 for Lancashire based children's charity, The Legacy Rainbow House.
Ladies were treated to a fashion show, over 40 stalls selling jewellery, handbags, health and beauty products, evening wear, gifts, books and nail painting. There were live demonstrations in cookery, flower arranging, hair, homeopathy, hypnosis and make-up.
Event organiser, Hayley Scholes said,
"This was a fantastic night for fun for all the ladies and a great fundraising success for The Legacy Rainbow House. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and the team at The Pines for their fantastic service. We would also like to thank Betty Duffin, owner and manager of the hotel for making The Legacy Rainbow Housethe hotel's charity of the year."
