This is what just a few of our corporate partners say:

"We are every proud of our long-standing association with The Legacy Rainbow House. We have seen this wonderful charity go from strength to strength giving the gift of independence to many disabled children. We have been very impressed with the standard to staff and the centre itself, but most of all the happiness emanating from the children who are thriving from their time there. Working together we have helped the charity to grow and enabled more children to benefit from the services offered at The Legacy Rainbow House."

Our partnership will help raise the profile of The Legacy and raise money for the development of an indoor sports facility for children with disabilities and the local community."

"Our business is about making a difference to the way people look and we are passionate about that. So, I wanted to be involved with a charity that made a real difference to people's lives and one where staff are passionate about their beliefs.
Joe Mawdsley is an inspiration, as are all the staff, children and families involved. I am very proud to have the opportunity to make a difference and I am delighted that the David Thomas sensory room is now giving so much pleasure to the children of The Legacy."

"Wooden Spoon is Rugby Union's charity which supports disadvantaged children and young people. We have a very high regard for the work of The Legacy Rainbow House, it has achieved so much with the children who attend.
We were so impressed with the plans for The Legacy centre that we decided to donate the funds needed to create the fantastic outdoor play area there."

"As a member of the Hilton in the Community grants committee I visited The Legacy and put forward my views in a report on whether the charity should be awarded a grant. I was absolutely mesmorised by all that has been achieved there and keen to see the plans for the future come to fruition. I highly recommended that the award should be given and I am delighted that the Hilton in the Community Foundation is involved in the project to build a Wheelchair Skate Park for the children"

"The Legacy Rainbow House is an inspirational and well-run charity, where you can easily demonstrate to the team the obvious benefits of their fundraising efforts. Certainly when you go there we all agree that ‘seeing is believing’. It certainly helps that Joe is so enthusiastic, and some of our team have been so inspired that they have now become volunteers giving their own time and skills direct to the charity.”

"We are delighted to support The Legacy Rainbow House. One of our own young managers had to leave work to become a full time carer for his daughter, who has cerebral palsy, when his wife tragically died giving birth. The charity has been brilliant in helping him to cope with a really challenging future."

"JMW Solicitors are proud supporters of the work of Joe Mawdsley and her colleagues at The Legacy Rainbow House. We first learned of the excellent achievements of the charity through the parents of one of our clients who is a regular attendee at the centre.

We share Joe's dedication to promote the interests of children with disabilities and aim to assist parents with all aspects of their legal advice needs. We very much look forward to working with Joe and all the team at The Legacy Rainbow House on many fundraising events to help continue the sterling work they already provide to many families."

"From the moment I met Joe Mawdsley and visited The Legacy Rainbow House I knew that we needed to support them as our chosen charity. Joe is an inspiration and what she has acheived with the facility is a credit to her and her team. My background is as a Physiotherapist and I can honestly say I have never known a facility like The Legacy Rainbow House, both in the quality of the services they offer and the ethos of the centre as a whole. With the plans for further expansion of the centre they will be offering respite and support for the families of the children with disabilities like no other service in the North West and perhaps even the UK.

thebestof ormskirk decided towork withThe Legacy Rainbow House as we were looking for a local charity to support and I believe we've found one that truly changes the lives of those who benefit from their services. It is an honour to be associated with the charity and I hope that we will be able to help themwith fund raising and also assist them in raising their profile locally with both the general public and the business community."

“UPS is the largest distribution company in the world, employing over 400,000 people. As such, the company encourages all staff to ‘make a difference’ by getting involved in local community projects.

A couple of members of staff had already been involved in the charity’s Rainbow Ramble fundraiser and were very impressed with its work and the success it has with the children who attend. So I got in touch and offered our services to help with general maintenance work at The Legacy. Our help was very gratefully received.

The UPS team was made up of staff from all levels of the company and proved to be a great way of getting to know each other, motivating, and working as a team. I would encourage other companies to support the charity in this way and experience firsthand the wonderful work done at The Legacy Rainbow House. It’s amazing what can be achieved in such a short space of time, and we all felt proud of what we had done to help the children of The Legacy!”
