Rainbow House Cumbria Outreach (Formerly the Legacy Cumbria Friendship Group) was set up in 2012 by Joanne Bennett, a local mum whose son Jack has Cerebral Palsy and was having to travel to Chorley in order to access Conductive Education Therapy at Rainbow House.
Rainbow House Cumbria Outreach provides Conductive Education to local children with disabilities, brain injury or life-threatening conditions. The sessions run every Friday (term time only) at Greengate Children Centre, Barrow.
The outreach project is 100% self funded, we receive NO government funding and rely on the generosity and support of individual giving, support from the local community, funds raised from events and grants from trusts.
